Named after the Japanese word for a wooden pencil, the white Kokuyo Enpitsu Sharp combines the minimalist look of a wooden pencil with the functionality of a mechanical pencil.
Instead of an eraser, the Enpitsu Sharp has streamlined loading mechanism at the top of the pencil. To refill a piece of lead, simply drop it into the chamber through the hole. The inner mechanism prevents the lead from falling back out, even when the pencil is turned upside down.
It comes with a single 0.5mm HB pencil lead inside but it can holds up to 3 leads inside the hexagonal body. Additional mechanical pencil leads can be purchase separately.Â
