Vinta inks are obsessively designed and meticulously mixed in the Philippines using high quality ingredients. The Vinta inks come in a 30mL amber glass bottle and are suitable for fountain pen or calligraphy use.Â
Each colour has a story to tell, related to the local culture or history. Ochre (Fortaleza 1797) is inspired by the colour of the Miag-ao Church, in Iloilo. This unique façade is due to the combination of materials (including eggs and limestone) used for its construction in 1797. Apart from being a UNESCO heritage site, it is also known as a Fortress church. Built on the highest vantage point to guard from invaders, its thick walls were built especially to protect the town of Miagao against the frequent Moro invasions during that time.
As part of the Vinta Initiative, a portion of each ink bottle sale is donated to the Teach for the Philippines Inc., which helps Filipino children access quality education.
